On December 1, 2019, Wu Muye attended the opening ceremony of the Hainan Island International Film Festival. He played the inspirational piece My Motherland for the special program “Tribute to 70th Anniversary of China’s Film Industry” to celebrate the glorious development of the film industry. Wearing white suit and black tie, Wu Muye played Chopin’s Minute Waltz to pay a tribute to his favorite film The Legend of 1900.
